The Cuatro Cinco Reserva Especial are also soft box pressed. They are packaged in boxes of 10 like the Edicion Limitada.The Joya de Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco Reserva Especial is a carefully modified recipe based on the Edición Limitada. The Cuatro Cinco Reserva Especial blend still contains a unique and exceptional selection of five year old, rum barrel-aged Nicaraguan ligero leaf fillers and a beautiful silky shade-grown habano wrapper from the legendary Jalapa valley like the Edición Limitada of 2013. Different from the 2013 Edición Limitada, the Reserva Especial incorporates a carefully selected Dominican volado leaf binder. The old rum barrel aging process provides more balance, richness, and aroma depth to a very strong Nicaraguan ligero. The barrels provide the perfect environment to smoothen out the flavor notes and showcase the sweetness of the leaf, according to the Cuatro Cinco Reserva Especial blenders.
